The ten-city Foreigner 40th Anniversary Tour kicks of in Calgary on October 11th, then begins its journey across Western Canada with an arsenal of classic rock hits. Foreigner is a British-American rock band. The group was originally formed in New York City in 1976 by Mick Jones, Ian McDonald, and vocalist Lou Gramm.

Foreigner’s very first album spun off a barrage of hit singles, signaling a trend that would only continue. Foreigner is considered one of the world’s most popular rock acts, with 10 multi-platinum albums, 16 Top 30 hits, and worldwide album sales exceeding 75 million. The band is responsible for numerous hits, such as “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” “Head Games,” “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Juke Box Hero,” and many others.

Rock The Nation at the Abbotsford Centre, March 17th, 2017Rock the Nation is a celebration of more than 30 years of Canada’s music, on tour in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday! Come catch the show the Abbotsford Centre on Friday, March 17th, 2017!

Rock the Nation began its life in 2015 as “Oh Canada – What a Feeling.” The show ran for two weeks at Toronto’s Princess of Wales Theatre to overwhelming acclaim from the audience.

This new show continues its celebration of Canada’s remarkable musical legacy. The rousing, multimedia theatrical production will thrill music fans no matter their country of origin. Though these songs were born Canadian, they know no borders.

Rock the Nation has a similar magnetic charm. Set against a backdrop of historical and musical imagery, the music brings to life a variety of eras now long since passed. Audience members will be moved to their feet, tears, and cheers of happiness many times over.

Rock the Nation features a live band with tribute singers, who convincingly take on the mantle of many a Canadian music legend. This si a stage show that will take you on a magic ride from the 60’s through the 80’s with a wide range of pop songs.

Paul Anka, The Guess Who, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, April Wine, Loverboy, K.D Lang, Tom Cochrane, and many more are included. You’ll hear the soundtrack to a generation. Songs that continue to inspire, comfort, challenge, and move the world.

Rock the Nation is the brainchild of Calgary-based Annerin Productions. Annerin Productions previous efforts have included such smash hit shows as RAIN, Let It Be, and The Pink Floyd Experience.
