The ten-city Foreigner 40th Anniversary Tour kicks of in Calgary on October 11th, then begins its journey across Western Canada with an arsenal of classic rock hits. Foreigner is a British-American rock band. The group was originally formed in New York City in 1976 by Mick Jones, Ian McDonald, and vocalist Lou Gramm.
Foreigner’s very first album spun off a barrage of hit singles, signaling a trend that would only continue. Foreigner is considered one of the world’s most popular rock acts, with 10 multi-platinum albums, 16 Top 30 hits, and worldwide album sales exceeding 75 million. The band is responsible for numerous hits, such as “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” “Head Games,” “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Juke Box Hero,” and many others.
